What kind of competition do you operate?
The competition is a spot the ball prize competition which requires skill, judgement and/or knowledge.
Why Spot the Ball?
Spot the Ball is a skill based game everyone can play. We do not wish to operate a lottery or a raffle.
How much does it cost to enter?
There are 3 options: 1 play = £1.00, 4 plays= £2.50, 10 plays= £5.00
Is it safe to deposit funds on your website?
Yes. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is complete you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction.
How much can I win?
The minimum prize available per paid game is £100.
How will I know if I win?
You will notified via email and telephone within 24 hours of the completion of each game.
How will I receive my cash prize if I win?
First of all we require proof of identification. Upon receipt and confirmation of this you will receive payment by cheque which you will receive in the post.
How are the competitions judged?
Before each game begins the judge is presented with a computer screen monitor displaying an image of a golfer hitting a golf shot. The golf ball has been electronically removed from this image. Using his or her skill and judgement, the judge will decide where he or she considers the position of the centre of the golf ball was before it was removed and selects this position on the screen using a mouse. The judge will not see the selected co-ordinates as these are not displayed on the screen. This process is supervised by an independent legal representative and a representative from Biggypank Ltd; each having signed appropriate confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. The co-ordinates chosen by the judge are encrypted and stored securely until after the particular game has closed.
Who is the judge?
Alison Nicholas MBE is our expert judge. A former British Open and US Open champion, Alison notched up no fewer than 18 professional titles during her stellar career. She played in 6 European Solheim Cup teams, three of them victorious, and is the current European team captain.
Who are Biggypank and why should I trust you?
Biggypank Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 07027833. The officials of our company comprise of fully qualified PGA Golf Professionals and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
